For over a decade Help Our Woods (HOW) has been tirelessly working to save the North Creek Forest on the side of Maywood Hills. Efforts have included fundraising, grant writing, standing firm protecting trees from bulldozers, penny drives, legally establishing the forest as a forest, hiring wetlands and wildlife experts to assess and redefine the forest all while providing consistent, valuable education to the citizens of Bothell about the woods.
Help Our Woods is the only Washington state non profit with 501c3 status from the federal government that promises that every donation is dedicated to the purchase of the North Creek Forest. HOW is a truly unique grassroots organization completely operated by volunteers. Come join us in our efforts to secure the last remaining parcels of the North Creek Forest!!!
